Are You Absolutely Sure? Transits for the Week of July 29th

Welcome to the new series on weekly transits, out every Monday afternoon!

The transit for this week begin relatively quietly, as we all absorb and process the activity from last week. I wrote about that here.

It seems like many of us have had things shift into motion almost without us. Everything that was living in the realm of the theoretical is suddenly very real, given that the Sun and Mars were sextile, heating up the engine, and Mercury moved into Virgo, grounding things in reality. For those of us who were at the helm of our own progress, this is great. For those of us who were caught in the stampede, not so much.

So this week is about deciding whether the forward movement was for the best.

We’ll get a little help on Friday, as Venus in Leo squares Uranus in Taurus. This allows us to either embrace the strange new world we’ve created, or it allows us to disconnect from the forces pushing us in a direction we don’t want to go. If you don’t like the direction of the current, get out of the water!

Finally, on Sunday, we have a New Moon in Leo while Venus enters Virgo and Mercury turn retrograde. This is a lot!

*The New Moon allows us a new start that focuses on what we need, not what others think is best for us.

*Venus is fallen in Virgo, which may cause some of the ideas we’ve been tossing around to lose their luster.

*Mercury turns retrograde, giving us an opportunity to review our decisions and make edits as necessary.

So take this time to ask whether you’re absolutely, positively, 100% sure about your path. Even if you are extra contemplation will serve you well!
